Club World Cup 2025 set to name 12 host venues | OneFootball

According to reports in Italy, FIFA will formally announce the venues in the USA for the 2025 Club World Cup on Saturday, which will have Inter and Juventus participating.

The new and expanded version of the tournament is already causing a great deal of controversy, as it will add far more fixtures to an already packed schedule for the big clubs.

Inter and Juve have already qualified for the competition, which will be played in the USA from June 15 to July 13, 2025.

Club World Cup 2025 taking shape

According to Calcio e Finanza and Sportitalia, the 12 stadiums set to host the games will be announced on Saturday September 28.

So far, FIFA have been unable to agree the sale of live television rights for the competition and will hold a new meeting next week in a bid to reach deals.

There will be an opening group phase composed of eight groups with four teams each playing a round-robin format.

The top two teams in each group go into the Round of 16, which becomes a knockout system.
