Como President Mirwan Suwardo has made it clear that the club has no intention of selling star forward Nico Paz at any stage in the near future, despite reported interest from Inter and a buy-back option held by his former club Real Madrid.
The Como executive gave an in-depth interview to Calcio e Finanza, published on Sunday, during which he spoke about a number of topics including the club’s growth and the involvement of the likes of Thierry Henry and Raphael Varane.

Suwardo also spoke about Como’s plans on the pitch as well as off it, and indicated that Nico Paz is a player the team want to hold on to for as long as possible.
When asked about Paz specifically, Suwardo replied: “We have no intention of selling any of our players, at least not in the near future. Maybe in three or four years, because it would be naive to say that player sales aren’t part of the business.
“And we’re not short on money, we are well-backed,” he concluded.
Como were, in fact, the heaviest spenders in Serie A over the January transfer window, spending close to €50m on the likes of Maxence Caqueret, Assane Diao, Anastasios Douvikas and Jean Butez.
