Roma won’t have Paulo Dybala for at least a couple of crunch matches after the break. La Joya went down in a heap about 15 minutes after subbing in Sunday’s game versus Cagliari. He has been diagnosed with a semitendinosus tendon lesion. He’ll be sidelined for about a month, Adnkronos reports.

The international stoppage will limit the damage a little, but he’ll most likely be out versus Juventus on April 6th and the Derby with Lazio a week later. The Giallorossi will take on also Lecce and Hellas Verona in the next few rounds.

In addition to Dybala, Roma will have to make do without Devyne Rensch, who has suffered a more standard adductor strain. He has seen regular minutes lately due to Zeki Celik’s absence.

The capital club, who eked out another victory against Cagliari, are just four points behind four place. It is occupied by Bologna, which are also in a groove, following Juventus and Lazio’s missteps.

The Argentine attacker has had a clean campaign injury-wise. He has skipped a pair of matches in Autumn, but this one will be his first multi-week absence. He has tallied 8 goals and 4 assists in 35 matches (25 starts) in Serie A and the Europa League combined.

In other injury news around the league, Andrea Cambiaso has avoided serious ankle problems despite leaving shortly after entering the Fiorentina tilt, Sky informs. He’ll stay with Italy and try to recover for one of the two Germany bouts. Instead, Denzel Dumfries has withdrawn while waiting for the tests on his injured thigh. Amir Rrahmani has reported to Kosovo after limping off with a similar issue against Venezia. Marcus Thuram won’t play with France to recover from his lingering ankle injury.
