FC Barcelona are aiming to solidify their position in the UEFA Champions League as they take on Crvena Zvezda later this evening.
Commonly known as Red Star Belgrade, Crvena haven’t performed all too well in the UCL this season, but on their day, they can prove to be a daunting opponent.
That is why Hansi Flick is fully prepared and has prepped his team well heading into this tie.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Flick has asked Barcelona players to focus on four key things as they approach Crvena Zvezda tonight.
First and foremost, Flick reiterated the fact that a win tonight could go a long way in solidifying Barcelona’s position in the table and helping them finish in the top eight.
The Catalans are currently 15th in the league table, but a win against Red Star could potentially put them in the top ten at least.

Flick has also asked his players to secure a win away from home. Although Barcelona have performed relatively well away from home this season, their two defeats in all competitions this season have both come in away stadiums.
The German has also highlighted some errors that were made during the recent win over Espanyol, especially in the second half of the game.
Flick does not want Barcelona to repeat those mistakes tonight, especially against a Red Star team known for their swift counter-attacking approach.
Finally, Flick wants his players to maintain the good level shown by the team throughout the course of the campaign.
Under the leadership of the former Bayern coach, Barcelona have won 13 out of 15 matches. Flick wants this trend to continue as these two teams lock horns this evening.
