At the moment, few teams in world football can boast to have a team as gifted as that of FC Barcelona. Filled to the brink with prodigious young talents who are eager to prove their worth, they have managed to lead the team well so far. Across the board, Barcelona and Hansi Flick are blessed with incredible young footballers.

Moreover, given how well the team has been performing, it was only a matter of time before even foreign players and pundits began to take notice. Thierry Henry previously claimed that he backed Barcelona to end up as La Liga winners, and more names continue to speak about the side and its players.

Most recently, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City star Phil Foden also spoke about a certain Barcelona prodigy in an interview with Amazon Prime Video Sport, and he singled out a certain Barcelona star when asked who he thought was the world’s best youngster at the moment:

“(Lamine) Yamal. At Barça, the kid on the right wing. I just watch him, and for such a young kid, his decision-making is incredible—one of the best I’ve seen. He’s got everything as well.”

He also spoke about the Barcelona wonderkid’s ability to play without any additional pressure. For the English star, Yamal’s way of playing and the joy he always seems to play with are some of his best attributes:

“One thing I like about him is that I don’t think pressure affects him. He plays with a smile on his face and just enjoys football, as it should be.”

Foden ultimately ended his description of Yamal by simply labelling him a ‘freak of nature’ when it comes to football:

“He’s just one of them, isn’t he? Freak of nature.”

Already this season, Yamal’s progress has been sensational considering that he is still only 17 years old. The Barcelona wonderkid has so much more to offer to the world of football, and the fact that he is only getting started makes everything even more exciting.
