Argentine forward Alejandro Garnacho is happy at Manchester United amid reports linking him with an exit from the club, according to Sky Sports.

Garnacho has struggled under manager Ruben Amorim, failing to impress as the number 10 in his 3-4-2-1 formation.

He has registered two goal involvements under Amorim. Unsurprisingly, he has failed to nail down a spot in the starting line-up under the Portuguese tactician.

The Argentina international has started just six games across all competitions under Amorim. Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes have mainly played as the number 10s.

Napoli and Chelsea want Garnacho. The Serie A club want him to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who just left the club for Paris Saint-Germain.

They have already made a £40 million bid, which has been rejected by United. The Red Devils reportedly want £67.5m for the Argentine.

Director Giovanni Manna has insisted that a deal for Garnacho ‘would be on Napoli’s terms’, indicating that they are not ready to break the bank for the left winger.

Chelsea are yet to ‘formalise their interest’ in the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award winner, while ‘clubs from Spain and Germany’ have spoken with his representatives.

While the 20-year-old is not considering an exit from Old Trafford, United may be forced to sell him if they receive a suitable offer for his services.

The Red Devils are open to selling him to aid their Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) status. The proceeds from his sale could be used to sign players suited to playing under Amorim.

Man United are ‘seriously interested‘ in Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, which suggests the club may already be preparing for Garnacho’s departure.

If Garnacho keeps struggling, United may sanction his exit in this month’s transfer window or in the summer.
