An insight into the wage packet afforded to Jude Bellingham by La Liga giants Real Madrid has early this week been forthcoming online.

Youngster Bellingham, of course, has now been plying his trade in the colours of Real Madrid for two seasons.

And to say that the 21-year-old’s big-money move from Borussia Dortmund has been a success would be something of an understatement.

Bellingham notched Player of the Year honours in his debut campaign in La Liga, owing to a remarkable haul of 23 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.

And the Englishman has since rediscovered his brilliant best this season, too, acting as a pivotal cog in Carlo Ancelotti’s XI.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to learn of those behind the scenes in Spain’s capital preparing to reward Bellingham for his efforts.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘The Englishman has earned, by his own right, for his performance, that his contract will be reviewed. His renewal is something that is taken for granted in the dressing room.’

With a view to an improved financial package for Bellingham, though, it is important to take note of the midfielder’s current salary.

The understanding is that, at present, the former Dortmund man earns €8 – 10 million-per-season.
