We asked our Hull City pundit about how happy he has been with the 2025 window and what he would like to see to cap it off.
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more…
Football League World's Hull City fan pundit has detailed two final signings he would like to see completed in what has been a strong transfer window for the Tigers.
Acun Ilicali got it all wrong in the summer, but it seems he has hit back this window with a number of new arrivals and departures.
It doesn't seem this will slow down either, with long-term target Louie Barry on the verge of joining Hull on loan as he prepares for his medical on Tuesday (28th January).
This sort of rebuild is exactly what new head coach Ruben Selles needed, and he will be thrilled with the quality of signings that Jared Dublin and Ilicali have successfully delivered to strengthen his squad.
With just under a week remaining in the window, there could still be more activity to come, and Barry might not be the final addition in what has been an enthralling January for Hull supporters.
Football League World's Hull City fan pundit, Ryan Frankish, has revealed how delighted he has been with the additions his club have made this window.
"In all honesty, our transfer window has been ridiculously good; it has been far too normal for Hull City's track record," Frankish said.
"Jared Dublin has really shown his credibility in this window. We have recruited exactly what we needed. We've got that spice of new, exciting prospects, but we've also brought in some Championship stalwarts - Matt Crooks is an unbelievable signing; that is probably my favourite of the window.
"The only person left is Greg Taylor, the left-back from Celtic, on a permanent. I imagine that would be difficult, but you never know.
"Other than that, I am so happy with our business, and the fact we have agreed a medical for Barry as well - that just tops it off for me. At the top end of the park, we are covered."
As detailed by Frankish, it has been a superb window for Hull, but the potential acquisition of Taylor would place some gloss on it.
According to Hull Live, both the Tigers and Queens Park Rangers are keen on the 27-year-old who is out of contract at Celtic Park come June.
Albeit he is keen on remaining with the Scottish giants, a chance to test yourself in English football has to be enticing and with the level of Hull's signings, it appears they are on an upwards spiral.
Signing Taylor would be a real statement for Humberside club, but with multiple European teams and QPR interested, it won't prove a simple deal to sanction.
Nevertheless, if they cannot force the transfer across the line, then it still has been a brilliant January and one the Hull supporters will look back at fondly if everything goes to plan.
