Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, and Nottingham Forest are all keen to sign Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Udinese want a fee of €40 million for the 24-year-old.

Striker Lorenzo Lucca has been enjoying his most prolific season to date in top flight football.

The former Ajax and Pisa striker has already surpassed last season’s total of eight goals in Serie A. He has hit ten goals for Udinese on the campaign so far, and is on ten to date.

Lucca has started to add regular goals to his impressive repertoire of holdup play and physicality as a focal point in attack.

Lucca’s form in Serie A this season has not escaped the notice of some bigger clubs.

According to the Gazzetta, the Italian international is one of the names on Inter’s shortlist of attacking targets.

The Nerazzurri will be aiming to reinvigorate their forward line with at least one signing this summer. The likes of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic will be headed for the exit door.

However, Inter will face competition for Lucca’s signature.

The Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan also harbour an interest in the Italian international, reports the Gazzetta.

And already in the January transfer window, Napoli had sniffed around. According to the Gazzetta, Udinese gave the Partenopei an asking price of €40 million then.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta notes, the interest in Lorenzo Lucca is not just coming from Serie A.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the 24-year-old, the newspaper reports.

Then, Nottingham Forest are keen to bring the Udinese striker to the Premier League.
