Inter Milan Remain Keen On Bayer Leverkusen Defender Jonathan Tah Despite Barcelona & Bayern Munich Interest | OneFootball

Inter Milan are still interested in Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah but must hold off competition from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

According to German television station Sky Sport Deutschland, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, both Barcelona and Bayern have been alerted to Tah’s desire to leave at the conclusion of his contract in June.

The Germany international is keen on a new challenge at an elite level European club after helping Leverkusen to a historic Bundesliga title last term, in which the club went unbeaten throughout the campaign.

It is reported that Inter have fallen behind Barcelona and Bayern, and Tah is set to pick between remaining in Germany or making a switch to La Liga next season.

However, German news outlet Bild claim that Inter remain in the hunt for the 28-year-old, and will battle Real Madrid for his signature.

Tah has made 370 appearances in all competitions for Leverkusen since joining the club in 2015.
