Inter have reportedly prioritised signing a centre forward, one wing-back and one central defender in the 2025 summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri are preparing for a busy end to the season as, despite a recent Coppa Italia exit, they are still running for the Serie A title and the Champions League.

Club directors and President Beppe Marotta, however, are already working behind the scenes to strengthen the team for next season.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, coach Simone Inzaghi and club executives have already identified areas that need upgrading in the coming season.

According to the report, Inter will be looking for a centre-forward, a winger, who will play as a right wing-back and a central defender.

The defending Serie A champions will try to sign two centre forwards if the disappointing Mehdi Taremi leaves.

The Iran international moved to San Siro on a free transfer last summer, but has only netted three times in 37 appearances across all competitions.

According to the report, Taremi is not considering leaving Inter in the summer, especially because his € 3.5 m-a-year deal runs out in 2027. However, the Nerazzurri are open to offers and would be more than happy to replace the 32-year-old with another striker in 2025-26.

As for the wing-back position, Marseille star Luis Henrique is at the top of Inter’s shopping list. However, while the player has reportedly agreed terms with the Serie A giants, Inter are negotiating a lower transfer fee with Marseille, as they are unwilling to pay €30m for the Brazilian.
