Kevin De Bruyne (33) will soon have a decision to make. The Belgian’s current contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season and it remains unclear whether he will renew with the club.

With the Manchester City playmaker free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with another club, he is not short of suitors, as per a report from Foot Mercato. The publication understands that the likes of River Plate, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and San Diego FC are interested in recruiting the player.

The latter have confirmed that discussions have taken place with De Bruyne, however, for budgetary reasons, recruiting him looks unlikely. One club that does have the means to convince the player is Neom SC, who currently play in the Saudi second division but who are well-placed to make the jump up into the Saudi Pro League.

Neom, who currently count Saïd Benrahma in their ranks, are pushing to sign De Bruyne and have entered into discussions. Those discussions have been described as “serious” and “positive” by Foot Mercato with the Belgian not closed to the idea of joining the club.
