Barcelona locked horns with Leganes at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a dominant start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Jorge Saenz scored an unfortunate own goal in the 48th minute. Hansi Flick’s men hung on to their narrow advantage and earned a hard-fought 1-0 win away from home.

He made one good save at the back and secured an important clean sheet tonight.

RB: Jules Kounde – 8/10

Kounde gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field. He also made one key chance going forward.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 7/10

He kept things solid when defending inside his half and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: Inigo Martinez – 7.5/10

Martinez cleared his lines when he could and was good on the ball.

LB: Alejandro Balde – 6.5/10

Balde made a decent start to the game but was replaced in the 40th minute.

CM: Eric Garcia – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well but offered very little in the final third.

CM: Pedri – 6.5/10

Pedri caught the eye at times at both ends of the field.

RW: Lamine Yamal – 6.5/10

Yamal had a few bright moments in the game but there was no goal for him.

CAM: Fermin Lopez – 7/10

He made a few promising runs with the ball and engineered a couple of inviting chances in the final third.

LW: Raphinha – 7.5/10

Raphinha was a constant menace on the left flank but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 6.5/10

He was a real handful for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him.
