Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé sent a message the way of teammate Luka Modrić on social media, in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.

This comes after the pair combined to fine effect against RCD Mallorca.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off a return to winning ways on Wednesday.

After welcoming Mallorca to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash, a surprise hero emerged for Los Blancos, upon Jacobo Ramón slotting home a last-gasp winner.

Prior to as much, though, it was the aforementioned Mbappé who drew Carlo Ancelotti’s troops level.

Picked out by midfield veteran Luka Modrić, the Frenchman did brilliantly to carve out a yard of space, before lashing home at the near post.

And though it was Mbappé who grabbed the headlines for his moment of individual brilliance, the significance of Modrić’s contribution was evidently not lost on his teammate.

Taking to the comments section of Modrić’s post-match Instagram post, Mbappé responded with one word:
