On Thursday, Lazio will try to pull off the unthinkable and qualify for the Europa League semi-final at the expense of Bodo/Glimt, despite losing the first leg by two unanswered goals.
The decisive second leg will take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. It kicks off at 21:00 CET.
With Nuno Tavares potentially back in the squad, Patric remains the only Lazio player on the treatment table. However, Marco Baroni will be without Luca Pellegrini, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Reda Belahyane and Oliver Provstgaard who aren’t on the Europa League list.
Christos Mandas is expected to keep his place in goal, with Manuel Lazzari, Mario Gila, Alessio Romagnoli and Adam Marusic forming the backline. After serving a two-match ban, Nicolo Rovella will reclaim his spot in the middle of the park, starting alongside Matteo Guendouzi.
Gustav Isaksen and Mattia Zaccagni should overcome slight physical issues to keep their spots on the wing, while Boulaye Dia and Taty Castellanos could resume their partnership. Nevertheless, Pedro is pushing for a starting role at the Senegalese’s expense.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas; Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Marusic; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Pedro, Zaccagni; Castellanos.
Kjetil Knutsen is expected to maintain the same starting lineup from the first leg. Hakon Evjen, Patrick Berg and Ulrik Saltnes should link up in the middle of the park, while Frederik Sjovold, Odin Bjortuft, Jostein Gundersen and Frederik Bjorkan should constitute the backline with goalkeeper Nikita Haikin starting between the sticks.
Former Milan winger Jens Petter Hauge will start on the left flank, while Ole Didrik Blomberg operates on the right, and Kasper Hogh leads the line.
Bodo/Glimt (4-3-3): Haikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Gundersen, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Saltnes; Blomberg, Hogh, Hauge.
