It's not just Jeremy Monga - Leicester City are reportedly at risk of losing a second star prospect along with the 15-year-old. That's the case if current reporting on the subject is accurate. City have minimal funds and will probably lose their two senior standout players as well. So, fans only had exceptional starlets coming through the ranks to hang onto. We need everyone we can retain or attract to the squad! Therfore, the question on the Blue Army's lips is can we trust further Foxes speculation concerning Jake Evans? Let's get to it.
We know that clubs such as Manchester City are reportedly interesting in young City winger Monga. Leicester's youngest-ever Premier League debutant has also attracted the admiration of Liverpool,Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Major French club Paris Saint-Germain are another linked with Monga by journalists. And that hearsay didn't stop LCFC manager Ruud van Nistelrooy from using the teenager. In fact, the interest likely spurred the Dutchman and the Englishman on.
Evans is the third-youngest footballer to feature for City. So you won't need me to tell you that he's highly rated.
The 16-year-old is the other LCFC starlet supposedly on the wishlist of a couple of significant teams. So much so, actually, that two separate offers for his services have apparently winged their way to King Power Stadium this week.
It is alleged that Man United and Tottenham are in the process of making bids for Evans. GIVEMESPORT's verdict is that the up-and-coming Fox could be on his way out of Leicestershire.
"According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United and Tottenham have both bid around £13m to sign Evans ahead of the summer transfer window. Leicester know that it's going to be difficult to keep hold of Evans, especially with interest from some of the biggest clubs, but the Foxes are hoping to build their team around him."
Although, the same outlet also suggests that bosses at the East Midlands outfit plan to build a team around Evans. That last statement appears outlandish at this stage; Evans may become that crucial person in the future.
