Bayer Leverkusen are aware of interest from clubs in England and Saudi Arabia for forward Victor Bonifance.
Several Saudi sides are monitoring Boniface ahead of a potential bid before the transfer deadline. The Nigeria international is understood to be considered as an alternative to Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez, who is a transfer target for Al-Hilal.
Boniface has scored 29 goals in 49 appearances for Leverkusen since signing from Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023. He was named as the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Season for 2023/24 after helping Leverkusen to a maiden title success in his debut campaign with the club.
Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs who have been linked with the 24-year-old, while Arsenal are also assessing striker options before the January deadline.
Leverkusen are reluctant to sell Boniface but do not consider the player ‘unsellable’, according to Sky Germany. The German champions value the forward in excess of €50m (£42.2m).
He has not featured in the Bundesliga since November due to injury but returned to the squad for the 2-1 defeat at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this week.
