Journalist Ben Jacobs previously reported that PSG explored a potential deal but pulled back. Bayern Munich also passed on a January move, though Sport Bild’s Christian Falk has suggested they could return with renewed interest later this year.

Foot Mercato reported Thursday that Nkunku is on Liverpool’s shortlist, with initial talks already underway. The Premier League side are looking to strengthen their attack and remain focused on signing versatile players—something that plays in Nkunku’s favor.

Newcastle United are also keeping close tabs on the situation, especially with expected changes to their forward line this summer. Several other clubs are monitoring Nkunku as well, but a key factor for the Chelsea forward is playing in the Champions League—something Bayern Munich can offer. The German giants continue to consider a move for the former RB Leipzig star.

Nkunku was already a hot topic during the winter window and is shaping up to be one again. With Bayern potentially losing Leroy Sané, there could be major movement ahead.
