Paris Saint-Germain are among several clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, reportedly eyeing João Pedro as the January transfer window approaches.

TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey reported last December that Brighton are seeking nearly £100 million for the forward, though they have no intention of selling him anytime soon.

With Pedro under contract until 2028, Brighton are in a strong position to negotiate. The Brazilian has made 11 appearances this season, scoring four goals and recording three assists.

TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool are also big fans of Pedro, who could be a potential replacement for Darwin Núñez.

Brighton are known for being tough negotiators in the transfer market. Whether Pedro is available depends on where the Seagulls finish, what kind of European football they secure, and their financial situation.

Traditionally, Brighton’s finances have been strong, which could allow them to have a big summer.

According to a previous report from Football Insider, Liverpool are interested in signing Pedro and have been monitoring his progress. However, the Reds will likely have to pay a hefty transfer fee.

The report also mentioned that Brighton could demand at least double the £30 million they paid Watford in 2023 if they decide to sell him in the near future.
