Liverpool XI vs Brighton – Predicted lineup and team news

Liverpool travel to face Brighton & Hove Albion in their final away fixture of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
It’s been a tension free end to the season for the Reds, who were confirmed as Premier League champions with four games to go. Understandably, performances have dipped as a result but Arne Slot will be hoping his team can end the campaign on a positive note.
Brighton will move up to eighth position if the Seagulls avoid defeat at the Amex Stadium. That position could still lead to European qualification, though is dependent on Chelsea’s league finish and success in the upcoming Europa Conference League final.
Arne Slot remains without Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton due to injury, but otherwise has a full squad at his disposal.
Conor Bradley is expected to start again at right-back, though Slot refused to rule out the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold to the side.
Alexander-Arnold was booed by sections of the Anfield crowd last weekend, following the announcement that he will leave when his contract expires. The right-back is expected to sign for Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Mohamed Salah still has his sights set on records. Another goal involvement will equal the Premier League’s overall single-season record, though both Andy Cole and Alan Shearer achieved that feat in a 42-game campaign. Salah also needs just two assists to match the Premier League’s single-season assist record. However, he has just two goal contributions in his last seven appearances.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Jota.
Brighton host Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday 19th May 2025. Kick-off at the Amex Stadium is 20:00 BST.
Brighton vs Liverpool will be available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Go UK and NOW UK.
