Llanfair United and Swansea University both recorded clear wins in the Genero Adran Leagues despite conceding the first goal.

The New Saints went in three up against Cardiff Met, with Chantelle Teare, Maria Francis-Jones and Helen Evans the scorers. Kayleigh Baker extended the lead and Francis-Jones added her second. The result but TNS up to second place, four points behind Cardiff City.

Cardiff City fixture with Aberystwyth Town was abandoned at half-time due to a waterlogged pitch. The Bluebirds were 2-0 up through Fiona Barry and Ffion Price, while Aber’s Lily Moralee-Hughes had been sent off.

Llanfair fell behind at Flint but fought back for a 4-1 victory. Ruby Hastings put Town in front, Sophie Cook and a Harriet Davies double leaving the visitors in control at the break. Davies completed her hat-trick in stoppage time, as Llanfair but Connah’s Quay Nomads’ lead at the top to five points.

Cascade YC 1-0 Cwmbran Celtic (Att: 25) Penybont 5-1 Llanelli Town Swansea University 5-1 Caldicot Town (Att: 34)

Swansea University substitute Annabel Stokes scored four times in a 5-1 win over Caldicot, as they went level on points with leaders Pontypridd United. Macey Morris had opened the scoring for the hosts, Charley Haynes equalising before the super-sub emerged.

Cascade’s Annaliese Lewis grabbed a 92nd-minute winner against Cwmbran Celtic, who would have gone top if they had won.

Mollie Jones scored either side of a Maddie Priday goal, to send Penybont into a 3-0 interval lead over Llanelli Town. Priday later also got her second, Layla Williams with the hosts’ fifth, Maisy Fahey-Pennell conceded an own-goal but after earlier contributing three assists.
