The former Bologna forward has been at the centre of transfer speculation for weeks, as his poor displays and lack of goals led to countless rumours linking him with a return to Italy, with Juventus looking particularly eager to add to their offensive firepower by reuniting him with his former coach Thiago Motta.

Man United told Zirkzee’s suitors he’s ‘not going anywhere’

However, Sky Sports News reported that the Dutchman has ‘no interest’ in leaving the Red Devils after turning down an offer from Milan to join them last summer, as he is ‘determined’ to prove himself at a club he loves.

While Napoli, Inter, Milan and several clubs from the Premier League, as well as the Bianconeri, have approached the player’s entourage to discuss a potential move, they’ve all been told the 23-year-old is ‘not going anywhere’.

Manchester United also made their intention to retain Zirkzee clear through the words of their captain Bruno Fernandes and coach Ruben Amorim, with the latter publicly claiming that he wants the striker to stay because ‘he gives everything and he’s trying in training’.
