Luke Shaw also not included in travelling squad
Marcus Rashford will not travel with the Manchester United squad for the Europa League match against FCSB.
The 27-year-old trained with the first-team on Wednesday, days after Ruben Amorim stated he would rather pick his 63-year-old goalkeeping coach on the bench than Rashford.
However, Rashford has unsurprisingly not made the trip to Romania for the match on Thursday night.
The forward’s last appearance for United came in the Europa League, when he played for 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen.
Rashford has not featured since and continues to be left out of United’s squad, with Amorim suggesting after his side’s win over Fulham that it was down to the Englishman’s effort in training.
“It’s always the same reason,” Amorim said. “The reasons is the training, the way I see what a footballer should do. In training, in life and it’s every day, every detail.
“So if things don’t change, I will not change.”
Luke Shaw also took part in training, but like Rashford is not in the travelling squad.
Shaw is expected to have added competition at left-back, with United closing in on the signing of wing-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.
