Corriere della Sera, via CM, have reported that Serie A CEO Luigi de Siervo has received an offer from Australia about the league playing a game in the country.

Since for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics takes place in Milan in 2026, San Siro will not be available from January 10 to February 8 and therefore the Milanese teams are looking for a stadium, the possibility has emerged that the Rossoneri could play a match on the other side of the world.

UEFA is yet to give a permission of this kind but the indication is that Serie A could try to seek it and push forward with the idea, which will help the league tap into more audiences.
