Wednesday’s reports claim that Milan Futuro could request first-team youngsters Francesco Camarda, Davide Bartesaghi and Primavera star Mattia Liberali to play in their upcoming matches to help them out in a Serie C relegation battle.
Milan Futuro are having a tough start to life in Serie C. Officially founded in the summer, the Rossoneri reserve side have already parted ways with their inaugural coach, Daniele Bonera, and replaced him with 2006 World Cup winner Massimo Oddo.
Oddo’s first game in charge ended in a 2-1 defeat to Legnago Salus, even though the young Rossoneri went 1-0 up and played against 10 men for 50 minutes.
Milan Futuro currently sit second bottom in Serie C Girone B, with four victories, 10 draws and 15 losses from 29 games for a total of 22 points.

In order to help them avoid relegation to Serie D at the end of the 2024-25 season, Calciomercato.com claims that it would not be unlikely for the likes of Camarda, Bartesaghi and Liberali to be involved in the next few Futuro matches.

All three have turned out for Milan Futuro at various stages of the 2024-25 campaign, but are not all permanent fixtures in the reserve team.
Camarda and Bartesaghi were both based with Milan Futuro at the beginning of the season, but have since been promoted to first-team players. However, given a recent lack of game-time under Sergio Conceicao, it could be a short-term win-win for both to gain minutes in Serie C.
Liberali also has also featured in Serie A this term, on top of his eight Serie C appearances, but he is typically based with the Primavera squad. He, too, could be reintroduced to the Milan Futuro picture for the next few games.
