Some good news has come from today’s training session at Milanello as both Davide Calabria and Noah Okafor returned to full training.

After the league victory over Lecce, Milan immediately returned to the training to prepare for the Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen. It will not be an easy game against the Bundesliga champions, but Paulo Fonseca’s side have won three in a row in the league.

In view of the game at the BayArena. MilanNews report that Davide Calabria and Noah Okafor will be available again for the match after they missed the Lecce game on Friday night due to a knock and muscle fatigue respectively.

They did the entire training session with the squad this morning and that means they will make the trip to Germany barring any unfortunate surprises, though at the moment it is unsure whether one or both will start the game and what fitness level they are at.

Given that Fonseca has switched to using two forwards (albeit with Alvaro Morata as more of a playmaker), having an extra option in Okafor is very useful. Not only that, but Calabria will be fired up to try and take his spot back from summer signing Emerson Royal at right-back.
