Napoli Could Have an Interest in New Udinese Star

Oumar Solet hasn’t needed much time to adjust to Serie A and had another stellar performance versus Napoli in the last matchday, contributing to shutting down Romelu Lukaku and company. His agent Claudio Vagheggi linked him to Partenopei already in an interview with Radio CRC (via Fantacalcio).

“He had an important experience in Salzburg, where he was playing in the Champions League. He’s already an established player, and he made an important choice by coming to Serie A. I think it was the right one because he can grow and mature here. It wasn’t easy to bring him to Italy, but we managed, and we’re happy, as he’s helping his team a lot.”

Solet might not stay at Udinese for long, and Napoli could be in the mix to sign him in the near future.

“He had important offers from Turkey, but he wanted to come to Italy. He waited for his contract with Salzburg to end and then started training with Udinese. His two months of practice helped him adjust. It’s a journey that’s bearing fruits. The relationship between the two sides is excellent. The negotiation for Nehuen Perez collapsed because of issues with the lists last year, but the two owners are on great terms. If they wished to, they’d do the deal in five minutes.”
