Victory against Manchester City if you were offered it, on the understanding that this came with it definite defeat to either AFC Wimbledon or Chelsea in the Carabao Cup?

Or would you rather, accept defeat today against Manchester City, if that then came with a guarantee of winning against both AFC Wimbledon and Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, meaning United would be playing in the quarter-finals of that cup competition in December?

Yes, we know that some of you will simply be saying you just want Eddie Howe’s side to win all three of these matches. We all do!
