Neymar’s Barcelona return hopes confirmed | OneFootball

Confirmation of the hopes of former Barcelona star Neymar Jr. of securing a return to the club has this week been forthcoming.

The name of wide-man Neymar has of course positioned itself front and centre in the media chatter in Catalunya’s capital over the last couple of weeks.

This comes after it was revealed that Barcelona had opened the doors to a potential reunion with the 33-year-old in the summer.

Neymar for his part recently made the move back to his home country of Brazil, to join Santos.

And the attacker has since looked a player reborn, on his way to six direct goal contributions in six appearances to date.

Such excellence has evidently not gone unnoticed on the part of his former employers in Spain, with widespread reports having confirmed that Joan Laporta and the Barcelona brass are keen on a sensational Neymar reunion for next season.

And, if the latest word stemming from Brazil is anything to go by, then the player himself appears just as keen on the prospect of a Blaugrana comeback.

Speaking to the media late on Sunday night, in quotes gathered by RAC1, André Cury, who brokered Neymar’s move to Barca all the way back in 2013, confirmed:

“Neymar would be delighted to return to Barça. He should never have left and his return is feasible.”
