Manchester United are reportedly pursuing Randal Kolo Muani and Nuno Mendes, but a new Paris Saint-Germain player is now being linked with the struggling Premier League giants.
According to Fichajes.net, the Red Devils are keeping an eye on Kang-in Lee who has been producing impressive displays at Le Parc des Princes this season.
The 23-year-old rose through the youth ranks of Valencia before being released in 2021. He then earned fame during his two-year spell at Mallorca, which sparked a glamorous move to Paris for €22 million.
The South Korean star is originally an attacking midfielder, but he has been forced to showcase his versatility to fit in Luis Enrique’s 4-3-3 playing system. As a left-footed player, he’s often being deployed as an inverted winger cutting from the right flank, but has also been tested as a false 9. This season, Lee has delivered six goals and two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.

The source thus claims that Man Utd consider the PSG star as an option to bolster their attacking-midfield department, especially amidst the uncertainty wrapping the futures of both Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnarcho. The Englishman has been omitted from Ruben Amorim’s squad for four matches in a row, while the Argentine winger has been unable to agree a new deal with INEOS.
But while Lee could be an interesting option for the Red Devils, the report reveals that Newcastle United are also monitoring the player with a keen eye.
The Spanish portal claims that both clubs have made initial inquiries, probing the player’s availability. However, it remains to be seen if either side would be willing to splash €40 million, which is the reported price tag set by the Ligue 1 champions.
