FC Barcelona are set to return to action tonight after the March international break as they face Osasuna at Montjuic for the matchday 27 game that was postponed due to the death of Dr. Carles Minarro.
This game comes at far from ideal conditions for both the teams, as their internationals could not get a sufficient break to recover from the fatigue accumulated from their national duties in the recent international break.
Still, the Catalans will be looking to win this match, as this will allow them to go three points clear of Real Madrid in the league table.
Barcelona have announced the squad for this game, and despite Hansi Flick’s earlier indication about Ronald Araujo not being called up for this game, the Uruguayan defender is a part of this list. However, Raphinha remains absent as he played in the match between Brazil and Argentina less than two days ago.
Pau Cubarsi and Robert Lewandowski, who both faced physical problems in the last international break, are both also present in this squad list, and this is also the case with Inigo Martinez, who had to withdraw from the Spanish national team due to a problem he suffered in the last league game against Atletico Madrid.
Similarly, the Barcelona Atletico defender Alexis Olmedo, who trained under Flick for the last three days, is also a part of this squad. Ansu Fati has also been called up by Flick for this game after his exclusion in the last several matches.
The full squad announced by Barcelona for this game is as follows:
Goalkeepers:
Defenders:
Midfielders:
Forwards:
Injured:
