Lucas Michal (19) has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal at AS Monaco, as confirmed by his formative club on Thursday.

Before heading out on a straight loan to join SC Amiens on transfer deadline day, Joan Tincres (18) extended his deal with the Principality club and now Michal has become the latest player to commit to his formative club.

The France U20 international’s previous deal had been set to expire in the summer of 2026. This season, the versatile forward has played seven times for the first team, whilst he has also played six games in the UEFA Youth League, netting once.

He has now committed his future to Les Monégasques penning a deal that runs until the summer of 2029. Michal won the Coupe Gambardella back in May 2023 and it was at this point that he signed his first professional contract with Monaco. It is his recent breakthrough that has earned him another deal less than two years later.
