OGC Nice duo Melvin Bard and Jérémie Boga set to return for Champions League shoot-out | OneFootball

Three OGC Nice players came off injured during their 2-0 defeat to Stade Rennais on Saturday. It was a match which saw them ruled out of the race for the podium, however, with RC Strasbourg Alsace, Lille OSC, and Olympique Lyonnais also losing, they didn’t drop down the table.

It means that, going into the final game of the season, Nice are fourth and have their destiny in their own hands. A win against Stade Brestois at the Allianz Riviera will see Le Gym secure a place in the UEFA Champions League play-offs. Ahead of that game, there has been a boost for Franck Haise.

Melvin Bard, Jérémie Boga, and Morgan Sanson were all forced off with injuries against Rennes, however, L’Équipe understands that all of them will be fit to face Brest. Bard suffered a bruised calf, Boga a twisted ankle, and Sanson a concussion after taking a ball to the face. All are in contention to start against Les Ty-Zéfs.
