Burnley have picked up 94 points and will be basking in the afterglow of securing promotion to the Premier League thanks to their  2-1 win against Sheffield United last time out.

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

The Fan Zone

Ben Platt (W12 Podcast): After a mixed bag of results and performances over the Easter weekend, QPR head into this weekend’s clash with Burnley showing the same inconsistency that’s defined their season. They wrapped up the Easter period with a 2-1 home defeat to an in-form Swansea side. Now mathematically safe, QPR approach their final two fixtures with little at stake, though they’ll be hoping to end a disappointing campaign on a more positive note.

As they prepare for Saturday’s early kickoff against Burnley, the injury list continues to grow. Jonathon Varane was forced to withdraw during the warm-up on Monday and is unlikely to feature, adding to QPR’s ongoing selection woes. Despite their struggles, QPR have often raised their game against stronger opposition and will be keen to play spoiler to Burnley’s title hopes.

Prediction: 1-2

Joe Redmond (TurfCast Podcast ): The main job is done now for Burnley, they will play their football in the Premier League next season.

Attention now turns to winning the Championship title for the third time in a row - something no other team has ever achieved.

Burnley will need to rely on Leeds United slipping up in their final two games if they are to win the league, and after seeing them demolish Stoke City that looks unlikely.

Burnley can only take care of their own business though, and they should have enough to see off a QPR side who are on the beach.

Prediction: 1-2
