This season, the 27-year-old has scored 33 goals and provided 13 assists in 46 matches across all competitions. Many of his goals have come at pivotal moments in Europe.

With PSG advancing to the final where they’ll be facing Inter Milan, it pushes Dembélé to No. 2 in the ranking after recording a goal and an assist against Arsenal. Meanwhile, Barcelona standout Lamine Yamal holds the top ranking.

Nonetheless, if PSG win the Champions League and the Frenchman contributes to the win, it should catapult him to the No. 1 ranking. Moreover, with no international tournaments this summer, Dembélé should be considered the favorite for the honor.
