Rangers ‘aren’t pursuing’ a deal for PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech in the ongoing window, despite claims to the contrary.
Rangers boss Philippe Clement has been keen to continue to reshape his squad over the course of the winter window, but has to deal with budgetary constraints.
Despite being linked with several players, the Gers have yet to bring in a forward yet.
The Scottish giants have been linked with PSV’s winger Driouech, who joined the Dutch giants in the summer.
The 22-year-old left winger has been a bit part player for the Dutch outfit and have recently returned from an ankle injury.
It has been suggested that Rangers are considering a move for the left winger before the window closes.
However, it has been claimed that Rangers are not pursuing a deal to sign the forward from PSV in this window, according to STV.
Goalscoring has been an issue for Rangers this season and they have recently sanctioned a loan move for Rabbi Matondo to Hannover.
Now with less than nine hours left in the window, it remains to be seen whether Rangers will be able to get a deal for a forward over the line.
