Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig’s move for AC Milan forward Noah Okafor has collapsed after his medical at the club yesterday.
During his medical yesterday, it was revealed that Okafor would not be an immediate help to Leipzig as he still returns from a calf injury. This has meant that Leipzig have now pulled out of the move for the 24-year-old.
Okafor was set to move to Leipzig on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy at the end of the agreement. He would have added much-needed depth to the Leipzig attacking options which significantly drops off when Loïs Openda, Benjamin Seško, Xavi Simons and Antonio Nusa do not play.
It is currently unknown if Leipzig will now look for another attacker in this window or stick with their current options. They have already been active this winter signing Ridle Baku from Wolfsburg for €4.5m last week.
