La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Wednesday been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Antony is set to be available for the club’s next outing.

Winger Antony of course grabbed the headlines across Spain once more this past weekend.

As much came after what has been a brilliant start to life for the Brazilian in the colours of Real Betis was brought to a firm halt by way of a straight red card.

In the closing stages of a 2-1 victory over Getafe, the on-loan Manchester United man was given his marching orders for what looked a relatively innocuous challenge.

Betis, furious with as much, took the matter to La Liga, requesting for their in-form wide-man to have his impending suspension overturned.

And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, the Verdiblancos have seen their wishes granted.

As per journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Antony’s red card has been officially cancelled and he will be available to play against Real Madrid. Decision communicated to Real Betis in the morning.’
