Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois has sent something of a warning the way of the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

This comes ahead of Los Blancos’ upcoming showdown with Arsenal.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on Tuesday night, when attentions shift back towards matters on the continent.

The first leg of a Champions League quarter-final tie with the aforementioned Arsenal lies in wait, at The Emirates.

Expected to take his place back between the posts for the clash following a recent spell on the sidelines is Thibaut Courtois, who therefore joined boss Carlo Ancelott in the club’s pre-match press conference on Monday.

And it was during as much that Courtois highlighted one particular aspect of the game in which he and his teammates will need to be particularly wary of Arsenal’s threat:

“Defending set pieces is going to be very important. We know they’re very dangerous.”
