La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without one of the club’s star performers for each of their next two fixtures in all competitions.
The player in question? Vinícius Jr.
Wide-man Vinícius of course played a starring role last night, as Real Madrid made short work of RB Salzburg in the Champions League.
En route to a 5-1 Blancos triumph, the Brazilian notched a 2nd-half brace.
Alongside as much, though, Vinícius also picked up his third yellow card of the Champions League campaign.
As much means that the 24-year-old will not be available to play his part in Real’s European clash with Brest next Wednesday night.
And this will mark the 3rd fixture in four in which Vinícius will have played no part.
After first sitting out last weekend against Las Palmas, the explosive attacker will serve the 2nd of a two-match La Liga ban in Real Madrid’s clash with Real Valladolid on Saturday.
