Spanish news outlet Fichajes has reported that Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the upcoming summer transfer window. The report has also revealed that Los Blancos value the 22-year-old at €70 million and will be looking to sell the player at that price.
The Frenchman was one of the best young midfielders in the world during his tenure at Stade Rennais, which attracted the attention of the reigning La Liga champions, and they signed him in the summer of 2021. However, his performances have not been consistent this season, which has attracted criticism from Real Madrid fans. He is still not an undisputed starter in the midfield of the Spanish giants.
Hence, Madrid are looking to sell him in the summer and generate profit. The future of Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, and Kalvin Phillips are not clear at Manchester City. Hence, Pep Guardiola’s side want to sign more midfielders after the off-form season that they are having.
Meanwhile, PSG want to increase options and depth in the midfield. Hence, they want to bring the Frenchman to the French capital. Both Madrid and PSG have the resources to match the valuation that has been set by Real Madrid.
He possesses a rare mixture of versatility and flair. His playing qualities include relentless energy and exceptional ball control, allowing him to dominate both defensively and offensively. Camavinga’s tackling is precise and tenacious, often breaking up opposition plays with ease, while his vision and passing range unlock defenses effortlessly.

A natural box-to-box player, he combines physicality with technical finesse, dribbling past markers with confidence. His composure under pressure belies his youth, making smart decisions in tight spaces. Adaptable across midfield roles, Camavinga’s intelligence, work rate, and silky skills mark him as a future superstar.
He has appeared in 12 matches this season in the La Liga, playing a total of 669 minutes. Camavinga has assisted 2 goals in 12 matches so far in the La Liga 2024/2025 season. Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Camavinga passes the ball roughly 66.36 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 89.07%. He also plays 1.07 key passes each game. Overall, Camavinga’s xA (expected assists) output is 0.33 per 90 minutes.
So, it is definitely good for the La Liga giants to sell him to any of the two clubs at that stated price, as both of these clubs have the financial resources to afford the deal. It remains to be seen what happens in the transfer window.
