An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at Real Madrid for the club’s starting line-up to face Barcelona on Sunday has been forthcoming online.
And the info points towards Carlo Ancelotti planning to keep his faith in the group of players fielded in Los Blancos’ last outing.
Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action tomorrow afternoon, when they make the trip to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.
The matchup comes as nothing short of a crucial one when it comes to the club’s campaign as a whole.
This comes with Carlo Ancelotti’s troops in the knowledge that nothing but a victory will suffice, in keeping alive their hopes of displacing Barcelona atop the Spanish top-flight table before the season is out.
All of a Blancos persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be interested to hear of the XI of players expected to take to the pitch at Montjuïc being revealed.
As per a report from Real Madrid insider Miguel Ángel Díaz of COPE:
‘Ancelotti’s idea is to repeat the same eleven that played against Celta Vigo (last weekend) tomorrow.’
This would mean the following players lining out for the visitors to Catalunya on Sunday:
Thibaut Courtois, Lucas Vázquez, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Raúl Asencio, Fran García, Dani Ceballos, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Jr, Arda Güler, and Kylian Mbappé
