“Really unique” – Manager raves about player Chelsea let waste away and freeze in the cold

A manager has this week been raving about a player that Chelsea just let waste away and freeze out in the cold in a lame situation.
Things are going from bad to worse for Enzo Maresca and Chelsea this season on the pitch, with yet another defeat arriving at the weekend.
The Blues lost 2-1 against Aston Villa on Saturday evening after being 1-0 up inside the first 20 minutes. I think Chelsea fans would have just expected even at that point, that their side were still going to lose this game, and they did.
Yet another horror goalkeeper error from Chelsea saw Villa grab the winning goal near the end of the game, but we all saw it coming.
Chelsea could not score and were really terrible. Even Cole Palmer was terrible, and he was seen trying to blame others for a bad pass that HE himself made. This just about sums everything up right now.
Off the pitch too things have not been much better, with a terrible transfer window.

Carney Chukwuemeka is a class player but Maresca barely used him at all, and it became clear that Chelsea want to sell him. He’s been frozen out and treated badly by the manager and the club.
It’s no surprise to hear that he is now balling out on loan at Dortmund.
Dortmund boss Niko Kovač was full of praise for Chukwuemeka just this week:
“The way he takes the ball and carries it, the way he immediately turns in the direction of play, that is really unique. He has very good acceleration and technique. The boy will give us joy, if he stays healthy.”
