According to a report from Le Parisien, AS Roma goalkeeper Renato Marin (18) will join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent in July. The teenager is highly rated and has represented Italy at the U19 level. However, he has dual citizenship and could later represent Brazil.

Marin comes to the end of his contract in the summer and has chosen to join PSG instead of continuing his stay in the Italian capital. He joined Roma’s academy in 2022 and has yet to make his professional debut. Instead, Marin has gained game time in the club’s reserves.

Marin will join a well-stocked position. However, as Le Parisien notes it is an area that could be subject to dramatic change in the summer. Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked with an exit amid negotiations around a contract extension stalling, while Lille OSC’s Lucas Chevalier has been rumoured to be a target for Les Parisiens.
