Report: Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea to go all out for “special” 19-year-old | OneFootball

Ajax defender Jorrel Hato has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are willing to go all out to sign him.

According to a report via Fichajes, the three Premier League clubs are keen on the 19-year-old, and it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done. They will face competition from Spanish outfit Real Madrid as well.

The 19-year-old is capable of operating as a central defender as well as a left-back. He could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for all four clubs. He has been described as a “special” talent and an “exemplary professional”.

Jorrel Hato would be a superb addition

Chelsea need an upgrade on Benoit Badiashile, and Hato could be a long-term option for them. He has the potential to develop into a top-class Premier League defender with the right guidance, and he could help Chelsea tighten up at the back.

Liverpool need more depth in the defensive unit, and the 19-year-old could be a quality understudy to club captain Virgil van Dijk for now. He could end up replacing the Liverpool star in the long run. He is capable of operating as a left-back as well, and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool decide to use them as a replacement for Andrew Robertson, who has been quite underwhelming.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to leave the club in the summer, and they need someone who can add defensive stability and quality on the left side of their defence.
