Sky Sport Italia reports that Roma are close to reaching an agreement for Twente defender Anass Salah-Eddine, who would replace Samuel Dahl.
The Giallorossi have been pretty busy on the deadline day as they already welcomed Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson, who is on the verge of moving to the Stadio Olimpico on a loan deal with an option to buy.
The Denmark international could soon be followed by Twente left-back Salah-Eddine.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Dutch side were initially unwilling to discuss a January transfer for the 23-year-old, but the Giallorossi are confident of reaching an agreement for €7m-8m.
Di Marzio reports that Salah-Eddine would replace Dahl, who is on the verge of joining Portuguese side Benfica.
The January transfer window for Serie A clubs ends at midnight Italian time today (23:00 GMT).
