Ronald Araújo the latest Barcelona star to respond to team doctor’s death | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ronald Araújo has taken to social media late on Saturday, to provide his response to the news of Blaugrana team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia’s sudden passing.

Miñarro Garcia’s name has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain across the evening to date.

This comes after the awful news that the Blaugrana staff member had passed away suddenly was confirmed.

In a statement across the club’s website and social media platforms, Barcelona announced that:

‘FC Barcelona is deeply saddened to announce the passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia this evening. For this reason, the match between FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna has been postponed to a later date. The FC Barcelona Board of Directors and all staff extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.’

Messages of support and condolence have since come pouring in for all of Miñarro Garcia, his friends, family, and all associated with Barcelona.

And as alluded to above, adding his name to this list of well-wishes a short time ago was another member of Hansi Flick’s squad.

In a post on his official ‘X’ account, Ronald Araújo wrote:

‘Unbelievable. Rest in peace Doc. Much strength to the family and friends. May God strengthen their hearts in this difficult time.’
