Alex Valle left FC Barcelona in the summer to sign for Scottish giants Celtic on a season-long loan deal without a buy option.

The 20-year-old La Masia left-back has been doing well in Glasgow, featuring 17 times in all competitions, in which he has five assists, and has even won a trophy.

However, it appears that the young defender’s adventure in Scotland could be cut short this month for a new one in Italy.

Como in contact to sign Alex Valle

Indeed, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Serie A newbies Como have made contact to sign Alex Valle on loan for the second half of the season with talks underway.

Celtic are poised to re-sign Kieran Tierney from Arsenal which could open the doors for Valle to leave on a new loan deal from Barça this month.

And Como have positioned themselves as suitors for the La Masia talent.

The Serie A side, managed by former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, see Valle as a top talent and are strongly interested in his services.

Having been promoted to Serie A this season, Como have been ambitious in their recruitment both during the summer and in January.

It must be remembered that they signed former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto on a free transfer when his contract ran out in the summer.

Now, they are seeking another young talent from Barça in Alex Valle, although a move would depend on his situation at Celtic currently.

Having already roped in Maxence Caqueret, Assane Diao, and Jean Butez in January, it will be interesting to see if the Serie A newbies are successful in signing Valle on loan.
