Quick round up of the weekend action for Tottenham Hotspur loanees

So, let’s summarise the other games. In the Belgium Pro League, Luka Vuskovic missed, presumably through injury, KVC Westerlo’s game at home to Standard Liege. Meanwhile, Alfie Devine started the game, but was withdrawn through an injury of his own after 24 minutes of the game.

Nevertheless, in their absence, Westerlo were able to make it back to back wins, with an important and impressive 4-2 victory. All of a sudden, things look much better for Timmy Simons’ side, who have moved up to 10th in the league, with 29 points from their 25 games. Next up is an away game against Cercle Brugge on Sunday, for an 18:15 GMT kick off. Let's hope they are both back for that game.

Up in Scotland, Alfie Dorrington was a second half substitute, playing around 23 minutes, as Aberdeen progressed in the Scottish Cup, with a 3-0 win at home to Dunfermline. Next up is an away game against Dundee in the league this Saturday, at 15:00 GMT.

In the National League, Luca Gunter started in goal for Wealdstone, as they hosted Gateshead. It proved to be a tough day at the office, with the Stones being condemned to a 4-0 defeat. This leaves them in 22nd place in the league, with 26 points from their 29 games to date.

Next up for the Stones is an away game against Yeovil Town on Saturday, for a 15:00 GMT kick off.

To finish things off, we go back to the FA Cup fourth round, Ashley Phillips was an unused sub for Stoke City, as they drew 3-3 with fellow Championship side Cardiff City. After two hours were unable to separate the visitors, Phillips’ side were dumped out 4-2 in the penalty shootout.

Next up is an away game against Bristol City on Wednesday evening, for a 19:45 GMT kick off, live on Sky Sports red button for those of you that are in the UK.
