Barcelona faced off against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park earlier tonight as they looked to defend their 4-0 lead from the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. The Catalan club made a sloppy start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 11th minute when Serhou Guirassy scored from the penalty spot. Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Guirassy scored again for the home side in the 49th minute before Barca got a goal back due to an unfortunate own goal from Ramy Bensebaini just five minutes later. Guirassy completed his hattrick in the 76th minute as Barcelona crashed to a 3-1 defeat on the road. However, the Catalan club won the tie 5-3 on aggregate.
